Auditions are the gateway to a world of creativity, expression and artistic excellence at Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara.
The Art and Culture Department of the Universidad Panamericana Guadalajara Campusheld an audition process for the representative groups of theater, dance, aerial dance and salsa last Friday, August 16, 2024. More than 30 students auditioned, mainly new students. This event marks the beginning of a new artistic season, and took place at the university's polyforum in an ideal environment where the participants demonstrated their skills.
A Friday of Talent and Passion
During the auditions, which lasted several hours, participants had the opportunity to showcase their skills through a series of carefully designed exercises and individual and group presentations. These auditions were conducted in front of a panel of experts in the corresponding disciplines, composed of renowned professionals in the fields of music, dance and theater. The evaluators sought to identify those candidates who not only demonstrated outstanding technical skills in specific artistic areas, but also exhibited a commitment to the ongoing practice and development of the art. In addition, participants were assessed for their ability to work as part of a team and their potential for cultural growth.
The challenge to shine
This selection process is aimed at forming high-performance teams in the areas of dance and theater. These chosen groups will have the opportunity to represent the university in a wide range of events, the main one this semester being Fusion UP 2025-1, with the adaptation of the story "La Vendedora de Cerillos". Students who are selected to be part of the representative groups will be able to develop and hone their talents in a professional and collaborative environment. This environment will allow them not only to improve their technical skills, but also to grow as artists, learning from their peers and the expert instructors who will guide their training.
