Aguascalientes, Ags., May 7, 2024.- Ms. Patricia Obregón Salado, head of the Protocol Office of our Panamerican campus in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, México. Panamericana campus Aguascalientes participated as a consultant in the protocol sessions for the candidates of the National Fair of San Marcos (FNSM), the largest fair in Mexico, in its 2024 edition.
Participation in the most important fair in Mexico
Patricia Obregón has experience as an independent image consultant and has been a lecturer in courses, workshops and diploma courses on image, personal branding and protocol.
In 2020 she started her own agency "Paty Obregón, Consultoría en Protocolo e Imagen". She is also a certified international consultant at CIP level and a member of the International Association of Image Consultants (AICI).
For several years, the board of the FNSM invited Patricia Obregón to participate as an image consultant in the protocol sessions of the training program offered to the candidates of this great event, whose objective is to prepare them for the great challenge of representing the State of Aguascalientes at a national and international level.
Her work consisted of preparing the future queen and princesses of the San Marcos National Fair in topics related to image and protocol such as personal branding, mistakes that can affect their image, flattering outfits according to their silhouette, color study, face analysis, identification of their personal style, closet, female etiquette and protocol aspects of non-verbal communication such as greeting, introductions, posture, among others.
"For me it has been a great pleasure and a great honor to be able to spend time with these beautiful girls and share all the tools that help them to better manage their image in such an important and beautiful tradition of our Aguascalientes, which is the National Fair of San Marcos, just a short time away from its 200th anniversary," says the protocol expert.
About Patricia Obregón's career
She has a degree in Organizational Communication from the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, a diploma in Counselor Training from the University of Navarra and a master's degree in Family Education from Universidad Panamericana.
She has served as undergraduate and graduate professor in the areas of Communication and Education. She has also been synodal in professional exams, academic advisor and coordinator of the Department of Continuing Education and Graduate Studies of Humanities.
Since 2017, she promoted the opening of the Protocol office at the Aguascalientes campus, which she is currently in charge of.
In this work, she has been in charge of providing counseling, lectures and conferences to students on UP Image and Style in various schools and faculties, in different formats such as sessions, manuals and videos. She has also elaborated an Institutional Protocol Manual for events and has collaborated with articles on Protocol in sites of interest.
In order to enrich her professional training, she has completed several diploma courses such as Image for Women, Image Consultants Training, Protocol and Corporate Image and International Image Consultant. She has an International Master's Degree in Protocol and Event Organization from the International School of Protocol in Madrid, Spain.
