Aguascalientes, Ags., May 7, 2024.— Patricia Obregón Salado, M.A., head of the Protocol Office at our Panamericana’s Aguascalientes campus , served as a consultant during the etiquette sessions for the candidates of the San Marcos National Fair (FNSM)—Mexico’s largest fair—for its 2024 edition.

Patricia Obregón, M.A., has experience as an independent image consultant and has served as a speaker at courses, workshops, and certificate programs on topics such as image, personal branding, and etiquette.
In 2020, she launched her own agency, “Paty Obregón, Protocol and Image Consulting.” She is also a CIP-certified international consultant and a member of the International Association of Image Consultants (AICI).
For several years now, the FNSM Board of Trustees has invited Patricia Obregón, M.A., to serve as an image consultant during the etiquette sessions of the training program offered to the contestants of this major event, with the goal of preparing them for the great challenge of representing the State of Aguascalientes at the national and international levels.

Her work thus consisted of preparing the future queen and princesses of the San Marcos National Fair on topics related to image and protocol, such as personal branding, mistakes that could affect their image, flattering outfits based on their body type, color analysis, facial analysis, identifying their personal style, wardrobe, women’s etiquette, and aspects of nonverbal communication protocol, such as greetings, introductions, and posture, among others.
“It has been an enormous pleasure and a great honor for me to spend time with these beautiful young women and to share all the tools that will help them better manage their image during this important and beautiful tradition in our state of Aguascalientes—the San Marcos National Fair—which is about to celebrate its 200th anniversary,” says the etiquette expert.
About Patricia Obregón's Career

She holds a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication from the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, a certificate in Counselor Training from the University of Navarra, and a master's degree in Family Education from the Universidad Panamericana.
She has served as an undergraduate and graduate professor in the fields of Communication and Education. She has also served as an examiner for professional certification exams, an academic advisor, and the coordinator of the Department of Continuing Education and Graduate Studies in the Humanities.
Since 2017, she has spearheaded the opening of the Protocol Office on the Aguascalientes campus, which she currently heads.
As part of this work, she has been responsible for providing advice, giving talks, and delivering lectures to students on UP Image and Style across various schools and colleges, using a variety of formats such as sessions, manuals, and videos. She has also developed an Institutional Protocol Manual for events and has contributed articles on protocol to relevant websites.
To further her professional development, she has completed various certificate programs, including “Image for Women,” “Image Consultant Training,” “Etiquette and Corporate Image,” and “International Image Consultant.” She holds an international master’s degree in Etiquette and Event Planning from the International School of Etiquette in Madrid, Spain.
