The experience is part of the academic internationalization strategy promoted by the Rector General of the UP-IPADE System Dr. Fernanda Llergo Bay Fernanda Llergo Bayaligned with the five institutional "Ies" of Universidad Panamericana. During the stay, students participated in classes led by referents such as:

In addition, the students visited the headquarters of the Popular Party, coinciding with a day of great political tension in the country. Applied knowledge and critical thinking

The program had a high practical component, which allowed students to contrast theory with the Spanish political reality.

Sixth semester students of the Bachelor's Degree in Communication and the Master's Degree in Political Communication participated. Master's Degree in Political Communicationfrom both the Guadalajara and Mexico City campuses.

These were: Karina del Carmen Aguilar Rangel, Carlos Iván Sánchez García, Valeria Guadalupe Ramos Esparza, Abraham Jiménez Verde, Jorge Osorio Monroy, Juan Pablo Lago Pan, Gerardo Méndez Montes, Efrén Rayo, Jesús Rodrigo Camacho Castro, Diego Huacuja Martínez, Emilio Alejandro Morlett López (Mexico City campus), Jaime Casas Alemán, Óscar Martínez Núñez, Edgar Fernando Rentería Morales and María Renée Cacho Vizcaíno. 

Final reflection and vision for the future

The program concluded with an in-depth reflection on the differences between political participation in Mexico and Spain.

As part of the program's expansion, it is planned to replicate this international experience on an annual basis. annually and extend it to the United Statesspecifically in collaboration with George Washington Universityin Washington, D.C.
