Zapopan, Jalisco; April 18, 2024.- Daniela Camargo, a graduate of the career of Administration and Marketing of the Universidad Panamericana campus Guadalajara, generation 1995-2000, currently resides in Ottawa, Canada, as marketing and communications manager at Mercury Filmworks, an independent animation studio that has produced animated television series and feature films for a variety of companies, including Disney , Netflix , Amazon Studios and Warner Bros.
In this company, Daniela is in charge of the marketing department that goes from the design within social networks, to the strategic objectives of the company, analyzing statistical data of engagement and competitor analysis.
Professional life
Daniela's professional path began in Guadalajara, where she started working at Seguros Monterrey New York Life after registering her resume in the Panamericana's job bank . Subsequently, she moved to Tijuana to work at Seguros Monterrey and then moved to a sports event company in San Diego. Her career also includes experience as a teacher and investor in Canada, in addition to opening her own advertising agency, being an outstanding example of a Panamericana graduate.
"I studied a two-year master's degree in marketing, I specialized, I am constantly in certifications, online courses, I have worked in different turns that have taught me the beautiful and the ugly and from that, learn and grow."
Challenges
During the professional process Daniela experienced different challenges, the first was to detach herself from her life in Guadalajara to take a job opportunity in Tijuana at Seguros Monterrey. However, that was not the only challenge she faced, because while she was living in Canada teaching, she was presented with cases of poor professional ethics, which caused her disillusionment.
"The importance of professional ethics within the UP, left me a very big teaching, I think that's one of the pluses that gives us the Universidad Panamericana, as a professional you always carry it ahead."
